We had a full and busy work week, pretty much strapped to our computers. It was time to break away and do a little trail driving.

A few weeks ago, Robert had explored Glade Top Trail while I was in Mississippi. Since that area is one of the most remote areas in Missouri, we knew that was the perfect day trip for us.

We decided to take Tucker along on this trip. The other two chilled at home in the A/C. Tucker likes being an only child anyway and is a great travel companion.

The trail was great! We went on parts of the trail that Robert didn’t get to on his last visit. We’re pretty sure we were driving on parts of a dried-up creek bed. We were certainly enjoying ourselves, then it happened.

Trouble on the trail

Robert noticed the Jeep pulling to the right. Not just a little bit either. It was pulling so much that he asked me how the tires looked. He was thinking that surely the tire was getting low. Nope…that wasn’t it.

We hope you enjoy this week’s podcast as we banter a bit about our Glade Top Trail adventure.

Big thanks go out to Adventure Tool Company for our tool roll. We love it! We used to carry a bulky toolbox and now all of our tools are much more compact. Came in pretty handy on the trail.

We’d love to hear from you. Send us an email at podcast@beentheredoingthat.com about an unexpected adventure you’ve had on a trail.

Here are a few photos from the day.
