We both slept great last night. Woke up to a crisp 46° morning—didn’t feel too chilly at all, especially for July. I’ll gladly take it.
Gayla had a string of client check-ins this morning, so while she was working, I used the time to clear the media files off the cameras and edit a few photos. It felt good to catch up on some digital housekeeping.
Later in the morning, we set up our cooking station outside under the shelter. I grilled up some tender sirloin steaks and paired mine with a perfectly ripe avocado. Gayla handled the dishes afterward, and I took over drying duties—teamwork in action.
Today was mainly a work day for both of us, so not too many pictures taken. In the late afternoon, we got out for a dog walk just as the skeeters decided to come out in full force. Still, it was good to stretch the legs and let the pups explore a bit.
