We’ve been here at Missouri Festival & RV Park since March 10th to enjoy our first workcamping assignment.  When we got here, there was still snow on the ground, so we had to park at the top of the hill, close to the front entrance.  Unfortunately, this spring has not been very cooperative.  Although rain in the area is welcomed, it seems to come on the days that aren’t very convenient.  I have to admit, I was getting tired of the snow.  I mean really…snow in MAY!!  I believe that we’ll go straight from winter to summer.

We had been eyeing our new spot down the hill for a few weeks.  New water, electric and sewer lines were just installed a few weeks ago.  Last Tuesday, when we arrived back from a quick trip to St. Louis, we decided to bungie things up, suck in the slide-ins and move down the hill to our new spot.  We like our big front yard for the dogs.  We are in a nice shady spot where we enjoy the music of the frogs in the evening.

This little park is so pretty and we are glad that we are here for the season.  The owners are wonerful to work with and we can’t wait until folks come for the festivities.
