After leaving the St. Pete area, we made a brief stop in the Titusville area to visit Cape Canaveral National Seashore and Kennedy Space Center.  We ended up at the KOA in Mims, FL for three nights so we would have enough time to do what we needed to for work and see the sights we wanted.

We were greeted by friendly staff.  They have late office hours, which is very nice if you’re a late arrival.  They weren’t terribly busy when we were there.  Our spot turned into a large pull thru site, even though it was made for two rigs back to back.  It was a very nice level concrete pad.  In fact, it was so level, it was the first time we parked at a place, turned off the vehicle and the leveling bubbles indicated we were already level without the leveling jacks lowered.

The campground was quite.  We could only hear the traffic when we were walking the dogs.  They had all the amenities like cable, WiFi, pool, showers, game room, laundry, even an on-site barber.  The laundry facilities were clean, however, we didn’t check out the showers to know what condition they were in.  We were disappointed in the WiFi strength.  We know we need to invest in a WiFiRanger Sky and we would have been fine.  Without the WiFiRanger, we spent a lot of time twiddling our thumbs while pages uploaded.

There were spots for long-term campers, cabins and tents. As we walked the dogs around the park , we thought that some areas where the long-term campers were housed, were a bit run down.  Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the park.
