While Robert worked on a bark tan pouch, I finished up phone calls. Oscar took a nap. Actually, all the dogs were pretty lazy while we were busy working on projects.

While we were beginning to pack things up to be on our way, we found out that we were officially homeless! Our house sold in Missouri!!! The closing went through and we were SOOO HAPPY!!!

We left Dowd Mountain and made our way towards Vernal, Utah. We had the old water pump and radiator packed in the back of the Suburban. We went by the local NAPA to see if they’d take them or if they knew of a recycling place. They were happy to take the old worn-out parts. Robert ordered another special tool from them as well so he could better tackle the oil leak. Very nice people in there.

We ate lunch at Grandma Dot’s Deli and had ice cream to celebrate the house sale!

We went to the grocery store to restock our food and water for the weekend. Then, we took off for a drive around Red Cloud Loop in the Ashley National Forest.

We started the loop last year but didn’t finish it. This time we succeeded in our endeavors. We found ourselves a spot off of Forest Road 10018 to spend the night. Well off the grid. No cellular signal or internet!!
