We have a blank canvas…what to do with it?  A QR code, of course!

Just a few months ago, Robert took off all the graphics from our Alfa.  We like having it plain, but a few weeks ago we were talking and joked that it would be neat to have one of those bar codes on the back of the bus.  So many people have the bar code scanner on their phones and with people being as curious as they are, some folks are bound to scan it.

Well our joking around became a reality.  I happened to be talking to my coworker, Emily, and she mentioned that her husband made vinyl stickers.  Although Jared had never made a bar code before, he was anxious to try.  We were delighted when he offered to apply the sticker for us.

Jared made us a 24″x24″ sticker and came out to our RV spot at Swan Creek in Tanner, AL Thursday evening.  Although the bar code scanned just fine before application, he was concerned about it working once on the bus.  Jared did a wonderful job because it works!   We are so pleased.  We figure it would be a conversation starter at the RV parks.

If anyone out there is interested in quality vinyl stickers at a reasonable price, Jared Parker is the one to talk to.  Although he’s in Northern Alabama, he ships most anywhere.   Drop us a note if you are interested in Jared’s work and we’ll pass along his contact info.

I thought the 24″x24″ sticker would be too big, but Robert and Jared are talking about replacing the sticker to one twice as big the next time we are in the area.

Thank you Jared and Emily for making our quirky joke a reality!
